S+S Q+A...

Did you know there are over 30 choreographers (and something like 100 performers!) involved in Short + Sweet Dance this year?  I know, right?  So I asked them a few questions about their work.  Here's this week's S+S Q+A featuring Serene Lorimer, Jessie McCall from Treat Station, Grae Burton, Nita Latu, Wasabi Dance Crew, Carlene Newall & Grace Crawford and Katie Burton.  Enjoy.

2. Did you find it challenging to keep your work under 10 minutes?
Not really it was already made and conveniently that length.

3. If S+S were a dinner-theatre type of show, what kind of meal would you serve to accompany your work?
Umm most probably a vegetarian Pasta dish… as that is one one my favorite foods and a key part of the workshop process of this was about our favorite things… Or avocado and tomato on Vogels.. look out for that one in the piece!

4. If you could invite 3 famous people (living or dead) to watch S+S Dance, who would you invite?
I got my flatmate to answer this for me: Zooey Deschenel, Scott Nescudi (Kid Cudi) and John Key and Hoani Harawera (they are each half a person due to their shallow politician nature)
